A YEAR WE WILL NEVER FORGET

2020 was not a lost year.
It has been the best year for us. We arrived in Spain.
These days, Gaby and I reminisced about everything we went through to get here. We affirm once again that God keeps His promises, even when everything seems uncertain. GOD KEEPS HIS WORD.
This year, we lost control, and God took control. We had plans for this year, but He completely changed them.
Just over a month after arriving in Madrid, the lockdown began following the declaration of COVID-19 as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). We were left bewildered. The adaptation process in a new country was reduced to the four walls of our house. (If you haven't read what we wrote on our blog during the quarantine period, you can do so at the following link => LOVE IN TIMES OF COVID-19)
The adaptation process turned out differently than we had imagined. God worked in us in profound ways. We laughed, we cried, we missed, but ultimately we understood that He had brought us to Spain at the right time.
As for the church, we continue our work through ZOOM. We have not yet been able to meet in person because our previous location was too small for us (I am sharing the video so you can see what the old place was like at the following link => WE ARE MOVING) We are actively searching for a larger venue, and we count on your prayers so that we can meet in person soon.
We are excited to share that almost two months ago we started with a new group in a town that currently does not have a church yet. It's called El Molar. It is located 10 kilometers from our town and is nestled in the northern mountains of Madrid. On Sunday mornings, we gather in a cafeteria to share the Word and have a time of prayer. Every week, the group grows stronger and we are overjoyed to witness what God is doing in people's lives.
As we conclude this year, we want to express our gratitude to God for His faithfulness and love toward us, and we extend our thanks to each of you for your prayers, support, and affection, for being part of the missionary project AMAR MOLA.
This year, 2020, draws to a close, but this is just the beginning. We are looking forward to what is to come.
As people say here: We love you!
