AMAR MOLA: THE BEGINNING

When everything seems lost, that's when something new begins.
The year 2017 was a challenging one for us, a year where we lost everything, quite literally, everything we had, and we started to think that the promises God had given us were also lost.
In this uncertain scenario, one night I started dreaming about Spain, and this happened to me several nights in a row. So, I shared with Gaby what I was feeling. And that's how we began to glimpse a glimmer of hope—the hope of something new, something that God had prepared for us.
We started dreaming and working on everything we needed to leave Argentina as DNM missionaries.
We had a dream, we had a project, we had a plan. What we lacked was the name. I wanted people to remember us by the project's name because we knew it would transcend.
One afternoon, while walking in the park where I was studying at IBRP, the name came up, a very Spanish phrase: AMAR MOLA.
And in 2018, AMAR MOLA had its start:
PROJECT PHASES:
AMAR MOLA is a long-term project.
Our projection for the next five years includes several already defined phases.
Phase 1: Exploratory Trip to Spain
Phase 2: Presenting Ourselves to DNM as Missionary Candidates
Phase 3: Graduation from EFM (Missionary Training School at IBRP)
Phase 4: Attending the Missionary Retreat
Phase 5: Missionary Tour
Phase 6: Traveling to Spain and Living Our First 4-Year Period as Missionaries.
A few months ago, we had the pleasure of being at the theater with an evangelistic activity called "Sharing a Message of Love." The town council granted us this opportunity to continue sharing Jesus.
The preparations for this event were made in just two weeks. With all the work ahead, we designed a brochure that would represent us with a Spanish phrase, a phrase that someone could hang on a chalkboard or a refrigerator. I couldn't think of anything at that moment, so I asked someone on the team what phrase they thought we could use. After a few minutes, they replied, "AMAR MOLA. It's how it all began."
That's who we are: AMAR MOLA.
That's the essence of our church: LOVE.
Loving God and loving people. That's what it's all about and has always been about.
We are about to complete our final phase because we are about to fulfill our first four-year period as missionaries, and our hearts are filled with nothing but gratitude for everything God has done in these beautiful years in Spain and for everything that lies ahead.
As I mentioned above: "When everything seems lost, that's when something new begins."
We are already planning the coming years here in Spain, and we will share more news soon.
We love you!
