LANDING
"Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him,my Savior and my God." Psalm 42:11b
A little over a month ago we arrived in Spain, and our hearts are overflowing with so much joy and gratitude to God for this opportunity. These weeks of disconnecting from social networks and WhatsApp have been very helpful in immersing ourselves in the culture and climate of the peninsula.
The first miracle we experienced was finding an apartment to rent because the demand for housing here is so high that it can be sometimes impossible to find any available.
In just a few days, we witnessed the answer to our prayers. We found favor in the eyes of the homeowners and were able to rent without facing excessive requirements. We recognize that the Holy Spirit was at work.
We are now living in the North of Madrid, offering our support to one of the Churches of Sendero de la Cruz, pastored by missionaries Marcelo and Vania Martins. We have been warmly welcomed and embraced as part of the family.
Every week, we attend the team meeting of pastors, led by Juan Carlos Escobar. We have joined very recently and we are in the process of learning and aligning with the vision of Sendero de la Cruz Christian Community, specifically, the focus on planting churches and training workers in the Northern area of Madrid.
We would also like to share with you that in the town we live in there are many young people and teenagers. Our hearts are burdened for them, so we ask you to join us in prayer so that they may come to know Jesus and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
We want to express our gratitude to each one of you for your prayers and financial support. We are deeply aware of the efforts made by the churches in Argentina to support us financially.
Until next time, we bid you farewell with a warm embrace. Because hugs "molan" and loving "mola" ("Mola" is a slang term used to convey the idea of something being cool, awesome, or enjoyable).
